Look, your road to success as an artist or leader or business owner is super important. But don’t expect everyone in your life to follow your endeavors. Don’t get bitter. They’re trying to make it too. It doesn’t mean they’re haters. It doesn’t mean they’re not rooting for you.
If you measure your success based on the people who believe in you, then success will never be enough. You’ll categorize your world into “fans” and “haters.” You’ll say passive-aggressive stuff that sounds “inspirational.” Create, and they will come. Or they won’t. But create.
